AHAHAHAHAHAHA! RIP AND TEAR! *Chainsaw revs* I'LL MAKE YOUR INNARDS OUTTARDS! *Imp is ripped right in half* *cough* Oh, sorry, didn't see you there. *ahem* Hey guys, Alex here. So, DOOM 4/DOOM (2016). Remember the old DOOMs? If you do, this game is gonna be quite the treat. Don't remember the old DOOMs? Don't worry, me neither! I didn't play them. They released before my time, so this is basically from a newcomer's perspective on this game. If the previous games were anything like this game, then I've been missing out!

MLP:FiM Review: Party of One (S1E25)
Hey guys, Alex here. I didn't forget about all those series I planned, I've just had a lot on my plate. But anyway, welcome to my first MLP review! I'm going to review exclusively Friendship is Magic episodes because...*shudder* Thinking about the others gives me chills. Anyway, we're starting with Season 1, Episode 25: Party of One, which is one of my top 5 favorites from Season 1. It's a really good episode with a strong message and quick humor. But let's break it down further. I'll have multiple categories going over the different aspects of the episode. Each category will have its own score and there will an overall score. Keep in mind th

E4: "Past Memories"
Last we saw, our heroes ended up in the Lost Tower preparing for a Double Battle against the Sage Twins and their Pokemon, a Mismagius and Honchkrow.
Anubis fishes his PokeDex from his pocket to check on Neith's usable Moves. Draining Kiss, Shadow Orb, Healing Pulse, Light Screen and Reflect appears to be her set. "I can make this work," he tells himself with a smile. "Let's go and win this one!"
"If you don't mind it, we will have the first move", one of the Sages interrupts, "Mismagius, Mystical Fire". Needing to hear nothing more, Mismagius sends out a flickering runic fire attack towards Alex.
"Not so fast," Anubis

Competitive Opinions #1: Umbreon
Hey guys, Alex here, and welcome to the first installment in one of the series I promised I would make; Competitive Opinions. Basically, I'll analyze a Pokemon and its usefulness in the competitive scene. Keep in mind that these are my opinions based on my experiences.
Umbreon, The Moonlight Pokemon
SMOGON Tiering: UU (Under-Used)
Type: Dark
Ability: Synchronize
Hidden Ability: Inner Focus
Let's start by analyzing its Abilities and typing.
Synchronize mirrors an inflicted status back to its opponent, so long as the status is Poisoned, Burned, Paralyzed, or Badly Poisoned. This is going to be your go-to Ability on an Umbreon, since it allow

E3: "Back On The Road!"
It's early in the morning at the Hearthome Pokemon Center. Last we saw, Alex had sustained some nasty injuries in a battle against Pearl and her Prinplup.
Anubis is quietly snoozing in a waiting room chair after staying overnight with his Pokemon. Nurse Joy comes with a clipboard and coffee in hand, and disturbs him from his slumber.
"Wha...? Oh, hello, Nurse." He says groggily, still waking up. "How's Alex holding up?"
Joy returns a warm smile. "That's what I came to tell you. He's made a full recovery and cleared for release." She steps aside to reveal Alex, who is practically glowing with health.

Last we saw our duo, they were wandering the Gardevoir Show's adoption looking for new additions to their team. When they attempted to adopt a Shiny Gardevoir, Wanda, another Trainer named Pearl challenged them for ownership.
"This'll be a cakewalk! Prinplup, easy win on the horizon!" Pearl shouts as she throws the PokeBall with great force. A large blue penguin-like Pokemon bursts out. True to her word, the Pokemon that emerges is a Prinplup.
Alex and Anubis both take hard gulps as they realize the difficult battle presented before them. "No turning back now," Alex mutters under his breath.

E1: "The Gardevoir Show"
A bright day sweeps across the Sinnoh Region as a relatively young Trainer at 21 years, Anubis, is traveling with his Pokemon in Hearthome City. At his side is his friend and loyal companion, Alex, an extremely rare male Braixen with deep purple fur, a body shape closer to that of a Delphox with its robes, and soft purple-fade-blue "ear-fluff" and tail colors. A tightly-knotted White Scarf hangs from its neck.
"Ugh...When are we gonna get some food?" Alex grumbles to Anubis. It's been at least 2 weeks since Anubis set out on this journey and it never ceases to amaze him that Alex can speak perfect English to him.

A not-so-quick note on Espeons and Life orbs..
So, in the universe of my fiction, Espeon do not receive the gem on their forehead upon evolving, but rather have to attach it themselves. Now, doing so is not as easy as it sounds, as the gem is what focuses the psychic powers of an Espeon, and using any sort of psychic ability without it is nearly impossible without extensive training. Most Espeon receive help from another Espeon in placing a gem on their forehead, and bonding it there.
It's rather common knowledge that Espeon are strongly tied to the sun, and as such, enjoy additional strength and endurance during the daylight hours. (Represented in game by the morning sun move) Gems of c

Sorry for not posting anything for a long time. Creative slumps suck, but after a huge XCOM binge the past few weeks, I got inspired to try my hand at an XCOM fanfic.
Anyways, here it is. Have a nice day. https://www.deviantart.com/alexthebraixen/art/XCOM-Reports-Alexis-1-Beginnings-673603055
Hey guys, Alex here. So I'll open with an apology. Sorry I haven't been uploading much to DA. I've been fairly busy with real-life stuff and other projects. "What other projects?" Good question. So this is basically what I do when I'm not writing:
Pathfinder (3.5e OGL) Tabletop RPG: This is what eats up the most time for me. I am absolutely in love with Pathfinder. I admit to being a major D&D 3.5e nerd, but I also felt there were just too many balance problems that stood in the way of the system. Naturally, rather than fix it (though, to be fair, you should have seen the mess that was 3.0e shudder), Wizards abandoned 3.5e and made 4e, w
Short update: I'm gonna take a short break from writing. Feeling some burnout and can't focus properly. I won't be using my DeviantArt much until I can get past this burnout.
If you have any questions about how to use anything on dA, you can search it up, ask me by posting a Comment on my Profile or refer to these tips and useful links.
And yeah we are pokemon fans too.
Hope you can upload and share some of your work soon.
